GED Testing Notification

You should receive a GED testing notification letter by the 5th of the month you requested for testing. If you have not received the notification letter by the 5th, please call the GED Office at 410-767-0538 between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Your call will be answered in the order it was received.


Test Results

Test results will be mailed to testers approximately 8 weeks after the test date.

  • February 2010 test scores were mailed March 30, 2010.
  • March 2010 test scores were mailed April 28, 2010.
  • April 2010 test scores were mailed May 25, 2010.
  • May 2010 test scores are expected to be mailed in late June 2010.

What To Expect on the Five GED Content Area Tests
The GED Tests (2002 series) measure knowledge in five different areas: Language Arts, Writing; Social Studies; Science; Language Arts, Reading; and Mathematics. An important feature of the GED Tests is an essay that documents your ability to write and communicate effectively.
